Adobe Flash 10.1 BETA

Postby Smokey » Tue Nov 17, 2009 8:56 am

The Flash 10.1 BETA from Adobe will bring about significant improvements and features. The most notable one being GPU acceleration. Get a copy here to try it http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/flashplayer10/. Please make sure that you are using the latest drivers for your video card before upgrading. My personal experience has shown that this BETA version reduces the CPU usage of flash by about 50% where I was averaging about 60% CPU usage in 10.0 and about 30% CPU usage in 10.1 BETA when watching HD videos on Hulu.com.
